Prom Dresses

My first experience shopping for a Prom dress. I am honored that my granddaughter, Brooke, allowed me the opportunity to live vicariously.

She chose the first one. It was a case of ugly on the hanger. Gorgeous on her.

It's Saturday. It's snowy and cold. I have the grandkids for the afternoon.

We have not had this much snow in Kansas since I was ... well, we won't go there.
Every weekend since January we have gone to at least one of the boys basketball games. 8am don't count on us being there... This last weekend Chris and Robin had tickets for off Broadway traveling show-Grease-in Kansas City. That means I get the Kids and Popie.

So the question is what do you do with 4 grand kids and one old man who really acts like the grand kids. Insert me smiling. First, you eat... Where you ask. Okay remember there are 4 kids and one old kid....

Yup, you got it Pizza, all you can eat. Yummo..... Of course the desert is the best ever.
So so so good....

Just ask Max

Now that our tummies are full what do we do next?
How about a run to the local pet store, there is sure to be fun there.
Brad new friend
Dude, what's wrong. I just want to be your friend. " Max, said Nana I told you not the put your arm up there. Wait, don't move I need to get a picture".... Poor Max

Eaten, check. Pet store, check. Nana what else can we do?
Lets explore our creative side...

SHH, THIS IS A SECRET.

How do we end the day?

Putting on animal noses... and having a minor melt down. Sara was tired no nap today. Plus she had a cough and runny nose. Poor baby/

Best part of the day was when Brooke, Mom and Dad joined us for a wonderful meal where we talked about our day and laughed.
