Another 5K... woot woot

Today was The Race Against Breast Cancer 5K. Met up with my good friend Bonnie and her Mom. Beautiful day for a walk.

Doves were released to signal the beginning of the race. How awesome, the white against the brilliant blue sky.

Runner? Me think not. this body was not made for running believe me. Walker? Yup that be me. I think it is the moving that counts don't you?

I know this did not photo well but I did the 5K in 1 hour with no adverse effects unlike The Color Run this summer. My little ole legs did pretty good. Now I'm ready for The Color Run in Lawrence next month. Bring it on.

Can you believe this is an alley. How awesome to plant flowers, have lighting and keep it clean.
